View types

SheetForge generates multiple views from your data. You can switch between them using the sidebar navigation. Here is a summary of each view:

Table

A sortable, filterable spreadsheet-style table. Supports column sorting, text search, and pagination. Pro users can edit rows inline and add new records.

Dashboard

An auto-generated summary view showing key statistics: row count, unique values per column, and top values for categorical columns.

Kanban

A card-based board organised by a status or category column. Ideal for project tracking and pipeline management.

Calendar

Renders rows as events on a monthly calendar. Requires a date column in your data.

Charts

Automatically generates bar charts, pie charts, and line charts based on your data columns.

Pivot

A cross-tabulation view for summarising data by two dimensions - similar to a pivot table in Excel.

Form (Add record)

A form for adding new rows to your data. Available on Pro plans. The form fields are auto-generated from your column schema.

Gallery

Displays records as image cards. Best used when your data includes image URL columns.

Timeline

A Gantt-style horizontal timeline view for data with start and end date columns.

Map

Plots records on a map using latitude/longitude or address columns.

Summary

A condensed statistical summary of your dataset with aggregate values.

Comparison

Side-by-side comparison of records - useful for product or feature comparisons.
