Sharing your app with a link

How sharing works

After generating your app, click the Share button. SheetForge stores your app data on our servers and generates a unique shareable link (e.g. sheetforge.ai/preview/abc123). Anyone with the link can view your app in any browser.

Share link expiry

Free plan share links expire after 7 days. Pro plan links do not expire.

Share options

When sharing, you can configure:

• App name: The title shown at the top of the shared app
• Password protection: Require a password to access the app
• Vanity URL: Set a custom slug (e.g. sheetforge.ai/apps/my-app) - Pro plan
• White label: Remove SheetForge branding - Pro plan
• Google Analytics: Add your GA4 Measurement ID to track visits
• Auto-refresh interval: For Google Sheets sources, auto-refresh data every 1, 6, or 24 hours - Pro plan
• Default filter: Pre-apply a filter rule for all viewers

Who can edit the shared app?

On Pro plans, anyone with the link can edit rows if the creator has write-back configured. On free plans, the shared app is always read-only.
