What is the Supabase integration?

The Supabase backend integration allows your SheetForge app to read from and write to a Supabase PostgreSQL database instead of (or in addition to) a spreadsheet source. This unlocks real-time data, larger datasets, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Connecting Supabase

  1. Go to Account > Integrations > Supabase
  2. Enter your Supabase project URL and API key (anon key or service role key)
  3. Click Connect
  4. SheetForge will detect your tables and views

Using a Supabase table as your data source

When creating a new app, select Supabase as the source type. Choose the table or view you want to use. SheetForge reads the column schema directly from Supabase and generates your app views accordingly.

Real-time updates

When connected to Supabase, apps automatically reflect real-time changes to the database. No manual refresh is needed.

Plan requirement

Supabase backend integration requires the Team plan.
